Veronica got her first pair of "real" shoes today. She has a bunch of pairs of sandals and Carters/Gymboree shoes, but she has never been properly fitted for shoes. Since she's walking (more like running!) around everywhere now, Aaron & I have been wanting to get her an actual pair of proper shoes that she can wear around. We went to Clark's where she had her feet measured and her picture taken (by the staff, not me- for once!). It was an occasion to be remembered!
It turns out that Miss V measured into the "wide" category...so our choices were very limited! Haha...poor girl! Hopefully she will outgrow her "wideness" and not be stuck buying from a limited selection forever! We ended up doing a pink and brown combo and from the very first second she had them on, she was in love!!
The sales associate who helped us loved Veronica and told me I should have another baby so I could bring another beautiful child into the world. Sounds good to me! ;) Attached are photos from our little "My First Shoes" book that Veronica received...I'll definitely be scrapbooking this one! :)
