Goodbye to the Evensons

Jon, Suzanne and Fayth Evenson, our friends and fellow RJA family here in Dubai, have moved home to Crystal Lake, IL. We are really, really really going to miss them!

On Wednesday night, Jon and Suzanne came over for our last Dubai dinner ever and we ate, drank and laughed our asses off! (Fayth was already back in the states spending time with her extended family while Jon and Suzanne came back to Dubai to tidy everything up and officially move out of Dubai).

I made quite possibly the saddest looking cake ever (ran real short on time and had to frost a warm cake...which was my biggest mistake) but I tried to make it represent Dubai with the Burj Khalifa made of Hershey's Kisses and a palm tree to represent the Palm!

I had a blast getting to know the Evensons and Suzanne brought a lot of creativity into my life. We had a great year and a half with you guys and wish you the best in Crystal Lake! :)
