We are trying to get V on her back more so that she will eventually sleep in her crib instead of still sleeping in her carseat as she does now. Veronica sleeps in her carseat because when she was first born, she was very congested because she inhaled a lot of amniotic fluid. The nurses kept her up on an angle to help with the drainage and so she wouldn't choke.
Well, when we got home, Aaron & I kept her up at the angle because she would sleep that way. At her 4 day old doctor's appointment, we asked the doctor if she should sleep flat on her back or on her side and he said that if the angle thing was working, and she was sleeping like that, then to keep it that way. Well...we did and now we are heading into some trouble! She won't sleep in her crib!!!
So I'm trying to get her used to spending time on her back and her side so eventually we can make that transition. I'm getting worried she's going to jump out of that car seat sometime soon!!!
