Senior Night!

Last week, Danny had "Senior Night" with the wrestling team. They announced all the seniors and family members came up and stood by them while the coach said really nice things about each senior!

It was awesome. I teared up when the coach talked about Dan. He said that Danny was a great team member, had shown so much improvement throughout the season and was a great wrestler and he also said he wished that he could have had Dan as a member of the team for all 4 years, instead of just senior year.

Little Miss V came out to support her Uncle D. He gave her a kiss on the cheek after the ceremony and he gave her his flowers! Awww...

Veronica did great. She loved all the sounds and movement around her. She ended up staying up 2 hours past her bedtime!!

Let's just say that Dan is SO LUCKY he has not had to wrestle a girl! Seriously, you are not a winner no matter what the outcome is. If you lose, well then, you just lost to a girl and have pretty much opened the door to get shit about that for the rest of your life. And..if you win. Well, congratulations, you just beat a girl.

Dan wrestles in the 189 lb weight class so chances are he won't be wrestling a girl. If he did, then I would be scared to see what a 189 lb high school girl wrestler would look like!
