Back in Dubai

We're back in Dubai...and were welcomed with some serious heat! We had an awesome trip to the states. Aaron and I both agree...it felt like we were gone for a month and not just 9 days!

For the first 3 days we went to St. Paul, MN. I seriously do not know what we thinking when we decided to fly to St. Paul with layovers in London and New York. We must have been high off the desert sand or something when we booked that trip. Never again will we fly like that again with kids! OMG!

Highlights of the St. Paul visit:
1. "Meet Veronica" party...Lots of family and friends were able to finally meet Miss V! She was a good but tired girl.
2. Mall of America trip...Veronica's first trip to what I have always called "The Mecca" (finally appropriate..(or maybe inappropriate?) now that we live in the Middle East!
3. Father's Day! Aaron's first Father's Day was a blast...he loved his gifts and the special time he got to spend with his baby girl :)

We then jetted over to Milford and Miss V snuggled with her Grandma almost the entire time.

Highlights of Milford visit:
1. Danny's graduation...Yes, he got his diploma (phew!)
2. Danny's best friend Rob walking into our house 2 days after graduation with a pierced ear. Turns out Danny drunkingly pierced his ear the night before...with a friend's earring.
3. Buffalo Wild Wings...3 times in 4 days (it's my fave)
4. Hanging out with my best friend and finally meeting her boyfriend (he's a keeper)
5. Rain (and lots of it!)

We were so sad to go and leave that beautiful weather, but it was time. Can't wait for Christmas!! :)
