Date Night!

I have started a new little tradition...once a week, Aaron & I get a babysitter and go out on a date! We had our first date night this week. I had unfortunately fired my cleaning lady who was also my babysitter (looong story but it had nothing to do with her, just the unreliable-ness of when she would be able to show up) so my friend Suzanne stepped in and came over to watch Veronica! Thanks again, Suzanne!

We went to the Souk al Bahar and ate at a restaurant called Momotaro. It's a Japanese restaurant that I've heard rave reviews about and was dying to try it. Nice ambiance, good menu. We both ordered sushi and a few minutes later, they brought us our appetizer and this SCARY looking thing. I said to Aaron- what the hell is that creature that you ordered?!?! Turns out, it was the horseradish root for fresh wasabi. I've never had fresh wasabi before and it's DELISH! Our food overall was pretty good. I may or may not go back there, we'll have to wait and see if the opportunity presents itself.

One thing is for sure though, I love date night! :)
