Uncle Dan, the Babysitter

I cannot, cannot, cannot believe how WONDERFUL my brother Dan is with Veronica! I thought for sure he would maybe hold her once or twice and then say hi to her when he sees her, but no! He's babysitting her, playing with her, he picks her up when she's crying, gives her bottles, burps her, and...wait for it...has changed 2 diapers! Granted, he said that is scarred him for life and I will have to pay for the intensive therapy needed to recover, but he did manage to do it! I'm so impressed and I just love him that much more!

I've been leaving Veronica with Danny everyday so I can run to the gym and run out to do other errands. He's completely cool and has found out that Veronica has a love of music! All throughout my pregnancy I listened to music and I always play music for Veronica now (her faves are Baby Einsteins, Lady Gaga and gangsta rap). I never told Dan about how music calms Veronica down and he figured it out himself! Now they "dance" to his favorite songs and it's almost a guarenteed calm baby!
