Buddha Bar and the Grosvenor Hotel

I took my mom to my favorite restaurant in Dubai, called the Buddha Bar. It's so fabulous! The food is delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very cool and sexy. The ceiling is 3 stories high, with huge red hanging chandeliers that look like they are floating in the air. There is a huge Buddha at one end of the main room. The service there is excellent! Our server even brought me a pillow for my back without me asking for one or anything like that.

I drove us down there (my mom did actually scream a few times when I was driving...let's just say there was a pretty crazy roundabout that we had to go through and there was a car that kept driving around and around it without stopping...so weird!) but we managed to get there in one piece!

Unfortunately none of my Buddha Bar pictures came out, but I did manage to take some of the Grosvenor Hotel, which is next door and I wanted my mom to see. This hotel is ultimate luxury and in true Dubai fashion, completely over the top!

Hard to see in this picture, but these are all pink roses and the rose arrangements and candles are sitting on a mirrored table...the reflection was stunning! This picture does is no justice at all!

This falcon is covered in Swarovski crystals...so beautiful!
