The day started out with my mom, Aaron, Veronica and I getting up around 7 and starting our day. We ended up finishing off the wrapping, Aaron gave V a bottle and we just hung out and waited for everyone else to get up. Danny made a quick appearance around 9ish but went back to bed when he found out that Johnny and Haizea hadn't come to the house yet.
Well, then we had some bad news! I greeted John and Haizea at the door by saying...I have some bad news. I was going to tell him that he may as well go home because Santa skipped our house because we're bad kids. However, he told me that he had some bad news as well...someone BROKE INTO HIS CAR!!! On Christmas Eve!!!! What the heck is wrong with people?!?! All they took was his loose change and a few of his mix CDs. WTF?!?! Haizea thinks they were looking for Christmas presents and we think she's right! Well, luckily Johnny and Haizea didn't put the presents for everyone in the car the night before. They were thinking about doing that but they ended up not...thank god!!!
So, Johnny was upset but as soon as we started opening gifts, he got into the Christmas spirit. Veronica fell asleep at 9 and slept til 1. Most of the gifts were open by then! Johnny and Haizea left at 1 to go to her mom's house for the rest of the day. We were sad to see them go, but we totally understood. Veronica spit up all over me a short while later. I said "forget about being dressed up" and threw on a new pair of pajamas my mom gave me!
Aaron got me a beautiful necklace that I absolutely LOVE!!! He also got Veronica a jewelery box with her name and birthday inscribed in it. He wants to start a tradition with her in which every year he gets her something to put in that box! Doesn't sound too bad to me!
I wish Christmas was everyday of the year. Seriously, I would totally appreciate it and would never get sick of it!!! :)
