Supper at Supper

On the 23rd, Aaron and I went to NYC for the night for a little "get-away". We met up with Conor, who we went to college with and was the best-man in our wedding, and we also got to meet his very lovely and beautiful girlfriend, Katie.

We stayed at a hotel called Thomspon Hotel on the Lower East Side. Our room was really nice and we had a rainshower! (A little sidenote...I am OBSESSED with rain showers and I always tell Aaron that when we buy I house, I MUST have one!!!). I didn't use it though because my brother's girlfriend Haizea did my hair the day before and I didn't want to get it wet..so I just preferred to be yucky with fabulous hair!

It took us 3 hours (!) to get there but luckily we got to use my mom's Tom Tom and at least we didn't get lost. The traffic was insane though. Going home only took us an hour and ten minutes!

We went to dinner at a restaurant called Supper and, oh my god, it was soo good. It was the first time in a really looong time that I actually finished my entire dinner! Aside from the dinner, we drank a lot of wine and finished the night off with champage. I woke up the next morning with a decent headache that lasted pretty much the entire day!

Now, a little history on Conor... he he he....

Conor was the "wild guy" in college. You know how everyone knows "that guy" in college who was just nuts? Yep, that would be Conor. Oh the stories we have...I won't share any on this blog because Aaron's grandmother reads it, but, let's just say there were many, many events that took place in college that were legendary and I'm sure that their fraternity stills tells the stories now in then. It's probably folklore at this point! If you ever happen to see Conor out and about, just grab the fryolator baskets nearest to you and start banging them together. That will get his attention real quick. Bonus points if you have fried food in them. :P

Conor is a great guy though and has pleasently surprised pretty much everyone who knows him into maturing into a gentleman. He's doing great and lives in London. Way to go Conor!

By the way, look at the size of Conor's noggin. Must be full of brains?! YOWZA!
