Our friends, the Evensons, are currently being filmed for the Dubai episode of HGTV's House Hunters International tv show! It's very exciting and we said "of course!" when they asked us to come to the beach yesterday and film with them.
I called Aaron (who was coming home from the liquor store...LOL) and told him to call me when he's outside and I'll bring the baby down and we'll hop into the car and run over to the beach. Well...the next thing I know, he's walking into the apartment! Well, here's a little interesting fact about Aaron. On the weekends, he really, really relaxes and apparently doesn't shower. He said to me, Lauren, I haven't showered or shaven in 3 days (EWWWW) and there is no way I'm going to be on tv without cleaning up. He still didn't shower, but wore cologne "for my sake" and did the fastest shave ever.
We hopped into the car and went to the beach! We had actually never been to this beach before. It's at the Jumeriah Park and they also have grills for bbq-ing as well as lots of trees and paths. It was so nice- we will definitely be going there again!
The producer went over what he wanted the Evensons to do, and for the next hour or so they were filmed. At one point, we were filmed sitting behind them on the beach as they were talking about the "possibilty" of moving to Dubai (their story is backtracking). Another shot had Fayth and Veronica playing in the sand by the water.
We'll see if they use anything with us in it! We are going to the playground tomorrow for some more filming! I have to pick out a cute outfit for my little movie star...LOL! :)
