This is what happened...We got to the airport, checked in, etc. Everything was fine til we had to go and get our passports looked at. Well, Dubai, in a nut shell, is ass backwards..Nothing ever works! LOL! They didn't want to let us through into the actual terminal because we didn't have Veronica's birth certificate with us! Even though we had her passport, they said she wasn't in the system and they couldn't let us through.
I started to freak out! They took us into this little office and were trying to figure out what to do. Well, Aaron comes up with the brilliant idea to log onto our blog and find the post where I showed the pictures of her birth certificate! They said that was fine, had me turn on my computer and they saved the picture to one of those memory stick things, printed it out on their computer and made photocopies.
If I hadn't blogged about her birth certificate, we would still be in Dubai!
We ended up making out flight by the skin of our teeth...talk about stressful! LOL!!
