Homeward Bound!

I've been extremely homesick lately and have just been wanting to go home and have everyone meet Veronica. Screw living abroad and trying to be glamorous...what I really want is in good ol' Milford, CT (never, ever though I say that!)! It's really hard to have a baby so far away and it just feels weird to not have any of our family members (besides my mom) meet Veronica yet. Plus, I'm sick of the heat...can't take the baby outside...basically I just need a break from Dubai!!!

Luckily, I'm married to the best guy ever. I told Aaron that I really needed to take a trip home sooner than December and he was completely cool with it.

So I will be home from October 28th- November 19th!

Aaron will be coming as well...he is going to be returning though on the 1st. When we were first trying to hash out how this trip would go, we got to thinking...why don't his parents (and hopefully sister and her boyfriend) fly out as well? Then they can meet Veronica too! Especially since at the rate she's growing, we expect her to be walking, talking, wearing lip gloss and rolling her eyes at us by Christmas! (And you know that lip gloss will be sparkly pink!)

A bunch of phone calls, emails and travel plans later, we finalized all our plans. Grandma and Grandpa Vanney are coming out from the 29th-31st as well...and get to see Veronica on her first Halloween! (She's going to be a pumpkin!).

So I have to say, I am feeling in much better spirits now that I know a trip home isn't too far away!

We are still coming home in December as well. I'll be home from December 18-February 6 and Aaron will be home Decemeber 18- January 1. WOOHOO!
