Scrapbooking FUN

I have a new love in my life...scrapbooking! My friend Suzanne introduced me to scrapbooking last May and I'm so glad she did! Prior to actually scrapbooking- I thought it was something for older ladies. I had no idea how much fun it is! So far, I made a scrapbook of my entire pregnancy for Veronica and now I am working on one of Veronica's first year.

Once a month, we go to a store called Paper Lane in Dubai. Paper Lane is an Emirati- owned scrapbooking store (which means it's expensive!) that has tons and tons of supplies. Unfortunately, they also have about a 30-50% markup than what you would pay in the USA, which is how most of Dubai is! It makes it a little hard to justify buying supplies there but somehow I still manage to do it :P Paper Lane is located in a villa and the upstairs has rooms where you can scrapbook with friends. It costs 60 AED (which is about $16.50) and that includes using the room, a coffee, and use of some of their scrapbooking tools.
