Weekend Fun :D

On Saturday, Aaron and I took Veronica to the Dubai Mall (that would be the world's LARGEST mall!). I took V to the mall once before with my mom, but that trip was cut short when little V woke up from her nap in a very, very bad mood! On the way home my mom told me to run over anyone who was in our way- we had a very unhappy baby!

A few things have changed since that trip. First of all, we now supplement with formula. Veronica is a very hungry baby who always wants milk and I just can't keep up! The formula seems to really satisfy her. Second, we now are big fans of the nukkie! Or the binkie,pacifier,etc.. if you will. Here's a pic for proof of that! We were on our way out to the car and baby girl was pacified! :)

So we finally got to the mall. We parked in one of the main areas, right by the water fountain with the divers. So of course, I decided that we needed a pic or two of us posing with V by the fountain...and I posted a pic months ago of Aaron and I at the fountain. I was newly pregnant, only 13 weeks!

We stopped at a new store at the mall...called Candylicious! I have to say- THANK GOD this store was not opened when I was pregnant!!! As a special promotion that day, everything sold came with a free side of cellulite. ;)

The store was incredible. It's the largest candy store in the world and they have just about everything. Here's the kicker though- they sell Garret's Popcorn! It's a Chicago-only specialty that is super popular in Chi-town. Even Oprah loves it- I believe it was one of her "favorite things"! The store was "no photography" but I managed to get a few pics. I just played dumb everytime I got scolded ;)For the record, I did not get anything!





We were hungry after walking around that amazing candy store and we decided to get some lunch. Aaron has been dying to try a fast food place for a while called Fatburger...yes that's actually the name and of course it's an American chain! We went to check out the menu and I was pleasently surprised to find out that they have a veggie burger and they use the Boca burger bran, which I love. So we decided to eat there. Aaron originally wanted to do this promotion, but I had to talk him out of it- haha:

The chain is located in the lower food court, which is the "fancy" food court.

And our little baby was a perfect angel the entire time! :)

Aaron decided he wanted to go back to Candylicious and get some ice cream...so back to the candy store we went!! So many yummy flavors! Someday I'm going to try the Junior Mint!!


So what does Aaron pick....Banana! Yuck- who the heck eats banana ice cream and chooses that when there are so many other and way better flavors!!!

We walked around a little more and then Veronica woke up and was starving!!



While Aaron fed her, I ran to a few stores and did some grocery shopping. When I was done, Aaron went and got the car and we were ready to go home!


We went to the Festival City Mall the next day and unfortunately I didn't get many pictures. I completely forgot to charge my camera battery! Here's what I managed to get...once again she was GREAT! While having lunch, Aaron said to me, "You know you're getting old when you are excited about buying a vacuum"...haha yep we were there to buy a vacuum and apparently it was the highlight of Aaron's Saturday! :) He is an "old man" :)
