Aaron is off to Vietnam!

Aaron is in Hanoi, Vietnam from Monday through Saturday (9/7-912) for a NIST (National Institute of Science & Technology) conference that he is presenting at. He called me to tell me that on car ride from the airport to the hotel he saw people on scooters with their livestock sitting in their laps while they were driving! Prior to going to Hanoi, I made sure he saw a doctor to get all the booster shots we could possibly get for him! There is no way he's coming back and bringing Typhoid into this apartment!! I know he received a Hepatitis A vaccine and in Aaron's words, he could now eat "food contamintated with poop for the next 3 years and not worry about it"...EWWW!!!! If he's not worried about that, than there is something seriously wrong with this guy!

Aaron was excited to tell me about "the best thing ever" on his plane ride from Dubai to Singapore (he had a layover) on Singapore airlines. A little backstory: Since Aaron travels a ton, he's really into the different airlines and which is supposed to be the best, etc. Well, Singapore airlines is rated #1 out of all the airlines in the world. Aaron always travels in the business class section when flying (a little perk for me, since I get to as well!) and he loves to compare the differences between the airlines. He's been wanting to fly Singapore airlines for a while and was excited that he finally got the opportunity to do so. Well, when he called me after he landed he told me that his beer glass never went less than 1/4 full throughout the entire flight. Keep in mind, this was a 10 hour flight!!!! He said everytime he looked down, it was filled again to the brim! The guy was in heaven. A dream had finally come true for him...A never ending glass of beer. I can only imagine how "sauced" he was coming off that flight!
