Getting Veronica's Passport

Yesterday Veronica, Aaron and I went to the US Consulate at the World Trade Center in Dubai to apply for Veronica's passport. Wow- getting through security was intense!! You would not believe it! Luckily pacifiers, diapers and wipes don't set off security alarms because we were definitely armed with those!

Veronica was such a GOOD GIRL! She totally behaved and was awesome while we waited, which turned out to be over an hour and a half! I did have to do a quick diaper change in the room and Aaron was nervous about that- he said he had visions of poop flying everywhere (he had changed a very nasty diaper earlier that morning and he was still scarred from it)! We were smart and brought a bottle of formula and she drank the entire 4 ounces while we were there. I didn't exactly want to whip out my tatas and start nursing her while cameras and random people were watching! :P

Her passport will be ready on October 8th which is great...because we are taking an early trip home! Aaron may or may not come, it depends on whether he does some surveying in NYC for his company or not. If he doesn't though, I will be flying solo or hopefully with the help of my brother John. Not exactly sure what he's going to do, but at the bare minimum he can hold the baby when I run to the bathroom on the plane! Please start including us in your prayers or positive vibes that Veronica will behave on the 14 hour flight!
