Aaron's Trip to Vietnam

Aaron went to Vietnam last week for a NIST (National Institute of Science and Technology) conference. He gave 2 presentations...one on the Venetian casino in Macau (WOOHOO PAR-TAY!) and one on Burj Dubai (the seriously tall building we live right next to). He was in Vietnam for 4 days and came back with a couple of good stories. One in particular is a guy who was riding on his scooter and had a bunch of pigs on the seat behind him. Aaron said that everyone there drove scooters and sometimes, it was a complete free for all with scooters going every which way! Here are some pics from his trip:

Aaron went to a puppet show on water. I think it was part of the conference and not something he went and did on his own! He said it is a ancient tradition that dates back to 1000 years ago. He said the show was just ok. I think it looks pretty!



He stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel...it looks really nice!
