A few random things...

Yesterday I walked through the Souk Al Bahar at the Palace hotel and when I was crossing over to the Dubai Mall. There were a ton of men in the lake (man-made) who were setting up something. A few of them were just swimming around enjoying themselves and I even saw one or two of them wearing bathing suits!!

I realize that it is kind of hard to see in these pictures, but if you look in the middle towards the back of the water, those are all men swimming with only their heads showing...it looked deep!

There was also a guy in the gold souk of the mall who was doing a falcon display. He was holding a falcon and answering people's questions. The falcon is a symbol in Dubai.
