Ski Dubai

Ski Dubai, located in the Mall of the Emirates, is a pretty well-known attraction in Dubai. Basically, it's an indoor ski park in the middle of the desert! You can rent everything here except gloves. You either have to buy those or go without!

The first time Aaron and I came out here we wanted to go snowboarding but I was so overtired and jetlagged that we never made it. (I always have the worst time adjusting to the time change.) Anyways, we still haven't gone snowboarding here and probably won't for a while (at least not until after August!), but my goal is to go at least once before we move out of Dubai! I took some pics of Ski Dubai this weekend and I hope you enjoy them! I couldn't go inside the actual park without paying so I had to take the pics from the windows.

Here is the slope structure from the outside:

It's designed to have a woodsy/cabin-ey feel. They have tv screens showing fires in fake fireplaces...you can kind of see one to the left of the random guy in this picture.

I hope you liked these pics! I'll definitely add some more once Aaron and I go snowboarding!
