Back to Dubai

I came back to Dubai last night around 7:30pm. Aaron picked me up at the airport and was so excited to see me. He couldn't believe how much the baby bump has grown since he saw me 2 weeks ago. Of course, as soon as I got in the car I started to cry because I missed my family already, but my mom is coming out next month and that makes me feel better.
It's nice and hot here...a lot different than rainy CT! The fridge had no food in it. I definitely got a glimpse of what Aaron's life would be like if he was a bachelor. The only fruit in the fridge were limes for his beers. The only vegetable was salsa. And there was a container of sour cream. When I opened that up, the inside of it was green. Eww!!!
Some "Aaron highlights" from the past two weeks:

1. He called me a few days after he got back to Dubai to ask me if the towels in the white hamper were clean. I said to him- Dude, I haven't been there in almost a month, I don't remember. I actually had to tell him to smell them and then use critical thinking to figure out if he should wash them or not. He never washed them...

2. One night he decided to make himself nachos but it turned out the chips were stale. Instead he picked the cheese off the nachos and dipped it into salsa and ate that for dinner. He called me later than night to ask me how long I thought I would wait until I started to cook for him again once I came back.

3. He started to eat a can a soup for dinner every night. I never asked him if he bothered to heat it or not because I was pretty scared the answer was going to be no.

Needless to say, he was excited when I made dinner for him tonight! He asked me if I would make him chocolate chip cookies as well and I told him I would but we didn't have vanilla extract. The guy jumped up and ran to our little super market, Spinney's, to find vanilla extract which is a hot commodity and they are almost always out.

Well, now I know why the vanilla is never in stock! This is what Aaron came home with when he went out for one thing of it (Yes that is 6 things of vanilla). He also bought 2 snickers bars, ate one of them and didn't eat any of the cookies I made for him!:

Unfortunately do to my extreme pregnancy-induced clumsiness, this was the fate of one of the vanillas about 5 minutes later. Dropskies!
